Cold Weather Maintenance
It’s a brutal time of year for your property, especially for most plants and shrubs. To get through winter, here are a few tips for the cold months:
- One of the best things for plants is to leave snow in place as an insulator. However, some snow can be removed gently, only if the weight of the snow could break the plant. And if there is ice, leave it there.
- Check the coverings on trees and shrubs to make sure they are still on securely or need to be replaced.
- Prune dormant trees and summer flowering shrubs. Let us handle this task. We know which trees and shrubs should not be pruned.
- Walk around and check patios walls and walkways. This deep freeze can really do damage to your property
